Bocan Youth Club


Congratulations to the Bocan Youth Club U. 15 Team who recently qualified for the All Ireland Finals in Limerick on 4th July.

 

Quiz Night on Sunday 28th June at 10 pm in Caratra Bar to raise funds for the trip. Your support would be much appreciated.

AWARE – Depression Support Group

 

June Meetings


The AWARE Depression Support Group meets in the Nursing Unit, Maginn Avenue on the 2nd & 4th Monday of each month at 7.30 pm. Meetings this month will take place on 8th & 22nd June. Come along this Monday or ring the AWARE Regional Office on 97355030 for a free information pack or for further details.

 


 

 

Parish Child Protection Information Evening on Wednesday, 3rd June at 8 pm in Bocan Hall. This meeting is for representatives of any Staff, Clubs, Groups and Societies that use Parish Facilities and Buildings.


These include: Fr McGonagle, Sacristan, Mrs Mary Doherty, Choir Leader, Play School Leader, Youth Club Leader, Badminton Leader, Drama Group Rep, Parish Council Rep. Other groups such as Irish Dancing, Aerobics etc are also invited to attend.


The main purpose of this evening is to introduce the Parish Child Protection Representatives and distribute the Parish Child Protection Policy so that Reps and the groups they are involved in will become familiar with the Policy and Procedures.
Reps will also be given some forms to hand out to their staff/volunteers to update records within the Parish.
